Happy Valentines Day!

Hey everyone!
I promised to write more, so I figured why not write about a holiday coming up!
So, Valentines Day...
Well, it's kind of in small terms, a day of love.
This is a great day for most people to get notes, flowers, candy, bears, ect. from boyfriends, girlfriends, wives, husbands, fiancees, friends, etc.
Or if your like me, then maybe you'll have to get your valentine from your mom or dad! :)
Anyways, maybe if we just think really deep about it, then we can change the way we look at Valentine's day. Instead of just thinking about getting something from someone we love, we can think about thanking someone who loves us more than all those people (even our moms!)
Jesus loved us enough to die on the cross for us, and God loved us enough to make His son die for us...
I know that you hear that ALLL the time from everyone but Valentines Day is a day for love, isn't it?
Ok, well then, let's thanks God for loving us unconditionally our whole lives. We don't need chocolate and flowers to know that God loves us, and He always has, always will.
Let's use Valentine's Day as a day to thanks God for his amazing love for us!
So yeah, turns out you don't have to have a boyfriend or girlfriend to have a valentine's day filled with love! God will love us! More than anyone else on the whole earth, despite our flaws!

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
